This adorable lad is Spud. He is a real live wire who loves to run, play and chase balls to burn off his natural terrier energy. He is looking for a home with terrier experience and owners who are happy to take on a training project. He will be best living with children aged 11 and above and as the only dog in the home. Spud has previously lived with cats so a feline companion should be fine. Spud was left for up to 9 hours in his previous home and this should be fine providing his physical needs are met for the day and he has a nice warm spot to curl up and sleep. The best outlets for him are playing fetch in a large enclosed area and some games such as hiding treats around the house and garden which he needs to hunt out. He would love nothing more than a large enclosed safe space to run around and explore and a lap to sit on at night and sleep it off. Spud loves cuddling up on the sofa and falling asleep with the younger people in the family. He really is a sweet little dog with so much love and fun to give. He's incredibly affectionate and tactile but would benefit enormously from positive training to bring out the best in him.
